US condemns Russia

The United States would prefer not to create obstacles to the Russian economy, but are forced to take this step to protect the interests of Ukraine and the world order.
This was stated by Advisor to the US President Barack Obama's foreign policy, Ben Rhodes, reports TSN.
"We would prefer not exactly have the sanctions against Russia," - said Rhodes.

However, he noted that Washington considered "necessary" to impose sanctions, and added that they can begin to be canceled after the Minsk Agreement by all parties, including Ukraine.
"The preferred outcome for the United States - the implementation of the agreements Minsk, respect for the sovereignty of Ukraine and the restoration of economic cooperation with Russia," - said the adviser.
